Blushes and lipsticks usually go hand in hand to prevent a disorganised look. If Coral is chosen for the cheeks, chances are a similar shade will be picked for the lips. Guerlain has introduced their Rose range that makes matching cheeks and lips a breeze for you.

As part of their collection, both Rose Aux Joues blushes and Roselip Kisskiss tinted lip balms come in 6 timeless matching shades. Bearing same names, you can match them according to their names and use the same shade for both your cheeks and lips or be a rebel and mix things up!

Discover Rose aux Joues, Guerlain’s new colour-revealing blush.

Rosy cheeks with a delicate glow, as if you had just spent a day in the fresh air, with a lightweight imperceptible finish. A feat made possible by the new Rose aux Joues which brings a pink flush to your cheeks with a single sweep of the brush.

Its Pink Booster pigments capture natural light and enhance your complexion’s natural pink hue in perfect affinity with the skin.” – Guerlain

Housed in a gorgeous sleek Black magnetic case with ‘Guerlain’ carved on it, they have really stepped up their game with regard to packaging. Not only that, the brush that comes along with it looks well-made too. Though I still choose using my own makeup brush during applications.

Comes in a range that offers 6 shades, I’ve received ‘Pink Me Up’, a darker pink among its peers.

What’s interesting to note is that the blush has a delicate violet scent, something I definitely did not expect. The colour is gorgeous on the cheeks, emitting a natural flushed look. However, one thing to note is that a little goes a long way, subtly. Excessive blending is needed and it would be wise to take a step back and look in the mirror once in a while during application. Seemingly harmless on my brush, it’s easy to overdo the blush by a few more swipes.

Guerlain imagines KissKiss Roselip, its first hydrating and plumping coloured lip balm infused with essential oil of rose.

Lips as soft and smooth as petals of rose, deserve the most delicate attention and the most luminous colours. Subtly coloured, the lips are adorned with a soft and natural glow.” – Guerlain

3 cubes to form the tube of this tinted lip balm, the elegance of the packaging takes my breath away. Just how gorgeous is this?

The night care: Apply KissKiss Roselip nude colour before bed for soft and hydrated lips in the morning.
The daily beauty booster: Apply KissKiss Roselip on the lips, for lightly tinted and hydrated lips during the day.
The double effect: Apply KissKiss Roselip in twin-set with KissKiss or Gloss d’Enfer to create a unique colour and look.” – GUERLAIN

From unsightly uneven lips to healthy looking plump lips, Guerlain’s Kisskiss tinted lip balm certainly gave life to my dull lips! There’s a huge dark patch from peeling (dryness) and the product covered that up perfectly. Hydration wise, I think that the formulation did a pretty good job in moisturising my lips. Considering the bad condition of my lips when I tried it on, the results after applying the tinted lip balm placed a good impression on me. So far, I’m loving both the formulation and color of this lippie!

As a tinted lip balm, the lasting power has exceeded my expectations. I took a picture after 2 hours and realized that even though the color has obviously transferred, a tint is still very much visible. The edges of my lips lasted the longest and although an outline lip-lined pair of lips may not be a good look, I’m impressed with how well this tinted lip balm held up.

However, I would assume that the lasting power of each shade differs. The one I got (Crazy Bouquet) is the brightest of them all and thus have more pigments which may result in longer wear. Since I did not try the other lighter shades, I could not compare.
